House prices increase in some spanish provinces
Council of Notaries confirms spanish house prices rose by 0.6% in February 2014.
ln February, house prices stood at 1,189 euros per square metre, which is an increase of 0.6% compared with the same month in 2013.
The Council of Notaries see this development as the end of the downward spiral for prices.
Family homes did really weil with an increase of 3.2% to 972 euros per metre squared.
Flats just increased by 0.4%, however for resale flats the price fell by 0.2%.
These price increases have been based on the increase in property sales by 39% to 26,602 homes in February.
It's time to invest now in Spanish market
The uptrend in home sales in recent months could be explained partly by the standardisation in purchase income tax but also reflect the stabilisation of sales over the month.
