Set in a small country hamlet, not far from a village and only a short drive to the town of Loudeac, you will find this great bijou manor house which was built in the 17th century by some rich cotton traders, the house was partially destroyed by a fire and subsequently rebuilt in 1803. We enter the property via a large gated stone arch, a second gate way on the other side of the courtyard, gives access to the rest of the grounds. The manor house itself offers on the ground floor: entrance all with original feature staircase, a lounge with wooden paneled walls and parquet floor, a dining room with fireplace, the old kitchens also with fireplace, downstairs toilet, and then two cellar rooms. Upstairs you have two spacious bedrooms, both with fireplaces, a third smaller room between the two, then a small door way gives access to the third bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet. A loft above offers extra space for development if you so wish. After that there is a stone barn, perpendicular to the manor house and forming part of the courtyard, and then a small cottage which was no doubt the keepers lodge, then set away from the others, is a stone tower offering two rooms which are good order, but need to have the elctricity connected from the main house. The whole property is set in over 9 acres of grounds, half being woods and the rest paddocks.
